"To Whom it May Concern,
I met Tony over a year ago at the YMCA (Y), where I work as a Personal Trainer / Fitness Specialist, and we have gotten on quite well since.
It was evident he had spent some time in the gym bodybuilding as he is quite built.
Recently, the Y started ballroom dance classes which I was rather excited about as I have always loved dancing. On the first day of class, I walked in and upfront in the middle of the room stood Tony with the class coordinator, who introduced him as the dance class instructor.
I was completely surprised, and remember asking myself, “Really? This guy with the physique of an NFL Linebacker is a Ballroom Dance Instructor?” I couldn't believe it!
However, that thought or image of him was quickly brushed away as he started doing demonstrations & teaching.
He moved with such grace, elegance and lightness on his feet that it became quite apparent he has been dancing for a long time and had completely mastered the movements he was demonstrating.
By the end of that first class it was rather obvious that he not only have been dancing for quite some time, but that he has also had a LOT of experience teaching dance as well. He was quite smooth and fluid in demonstrating both the mens' and ladies’ movements; seemed to have a systematic approach to teaching and completely knew how to present the instructions in a clear and fun way.
He created a rather easy and pleasant atmosphere that is conducive to learning dance moves. It can be quite intimidating or embarrassing trying to dance and having an expert critique you as you are doing so.
Tony is a great dancer and instructor who creates an enjoyable atmosphere where individuals would not feel afraid to learn to dance. I have personally enjoyed the classes, have learned quite a bit, and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to take dance lessons but might be a little intimidated! He makes it easy & fun!"
I Never Knew How Much Fun Dance Could Be
"For most of my 67 years, I looked on dance as something, well, abnormal. I never realized how much fun dance could be. But with Tony Pearl teaching the dance class, dancing is not only lots of fun, it's fun to learn! My wife and I are regulars at Tony's beginners class. Tony's class combines easy to understand instruction with the atmosphere of a dance party. We are amazed at the progress we have made, and I am amazed at the enjoyment I have from it!"
