Welcome to Beginner Dance Class #8!

Last Class Wrap-Up: FOXTROT, WALTZ, RUMBA…​

Foxtrot: Everything We’ve Covered in This Session:

In this video, we go over all the patterns we’ve done in our class sessions up to this point, which is good because this was our last class of the session.

Be sure to practice this sequence of patterns so that you can gain full mastery & be ready for everything that comes after this.

Remember the 2 rhythms we’ve used for this dance up to this point:1. Box Rhythm: Slow, Quick-Quick; Slow, Quick-Quick.2. Magic Rhythm: Slow, Slow, Quick-Quick; Slow, Slow, Quick-Quick.

Here are the names of the patterns & their appropriate rhythm:(Note: S=Slow, q=quick, q-q=quick-quick (side-together))

​Box Rhythm (S, q-q; S, q-q):-Box -Underarm Turn.

Magic Rhythm (S, S, q-q; S, S, q-q):-Magic Walking Step (2 steps in the same direction, side-together)-Magic Left Turn (Forward, Back, side-together)​

These are nice combination patterns that will last you a lifetime of happy dancing!  Enjoy!​

This was our last class of the session.
